A couple of years ago I smashed the buckles of my Crumpler messenger bag (awesome birthday gift from Scragz) in a car door. The buckle that got crushed and destroyed was for the strap that holds the messenger bag on your back like a backpack for when you are actually using your messenger bag on a bike. Without it the messenger bag really becomes a big masculine looking purse.
