Stuffed Clammish Seaweed Seitan
Not sure how to name these new things yet. More in the quest for vegetarian meat substituted meals bringing exciting eating options to the world in a way that might be more sustainable than everybody actually eating meat. Certainly it would be more “humane”. Anyway, I love clams, clam chowder, and especially stuffed clams. Meaty beefy veggie burgers
I purchased a variety of fake meats from the “natural” stores near me in order to get an idea of what is out there and how I might improve my experiment into vegetarian meat analogs. A whole lot of money later I was a lot disappointed and a little pissed off. It was shocking to me how bad these supposedly high quality fresh good for you commercial offerings could be. Cacao nut marbled dessert (raw food)
In honor of an old and new friend, who I thought were attending open mic, and are raw foodies I endeavored to make three different recipes. Kale chips (like healthy uncooked potato chips), Broccolli and parsnip rice with nut sauce entree, and a cacao nut marbled desert. Only the the kale chips and the dessert were completed (timing with open mic ruined the entree). But only the kale chips came out as stupendous. While everyone seemed to enjoy and marvel at the uncooked dessert it was nothing like the delicate thing the recipe I was using suggested it would be.

Microwave chocolate pudding cake
Quick and satisfying. Not a real cake by any stretch of the imagination, but for something you can make start to finish in under 5 minutes (well just about), you gotta love it. I’ve found the texture of these microwave cake recipes lend themselves well to carrot style cakes or black forest and stuff like that. Amanda and I enjoyed the hell out of this one.
